Your Metal Tones library is great! It is a go to tool for sound design — from creating spaceship ambiences to adding tension to dramatic scenes. I even used it as a building block to create a piercing tinnitus tone. I work out of a home studio and libraries like yours have made it possible for me to compete with editors working at large studios.
I also use your Doors library quite often.

You can add Hiss and a Roar Libraries to my favourites as well.
The Tortured packs are awesome and very versatile. They make great
textures for ambiences or signature layers in almost anything!

I ended up using a fair amount of your sounds on Gears of War 4
and we won the Golden Reel for the best Cutscene audio for that year!

I’m sound designer on the Minuscule movies and series. Minuscule is a speechless movie with CGI animated insects over real backdrops. The overall tone is quite funny and absurd, and very challenging and creative sound wise because everything has to be created from scratch, even the insects ‘dialogs’. I use the Seals Vocal library a lot for the red ants in the 1st movie. I’m currently working on the second movie and still use those seals a lot!
Seals Vocals are the perfect sounds to make Minuscule’s grumpy and silly red ants come to life on the screen. Thanks for providing great libraries!

Your sounds are really great and so, so useful for lots of different projects.
The quality is fantastic but what’s better is that you record useful sounds for us designers!

Currently sound designing a BBC series called “The Cry” for director Glendyn Ivin.
Using your wind, waves, blow holes, chimes, some metal hits and impacts,
and some really twisted tortured piano treatments as scene reverses.
The high sample rates lend themselves to serious sonic twisting
within ProTools, or with VST plugins within SoundMiner

I’ve been using HissandaRoar sound effects for the better part of 5 years now, and they are a big part of my work. I’ve won 4 Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, and these libraries are a huge part of that! One of my favorite instances is in an episode of Dinotrux. There is an episode where the Trux go under water, and we had to create an entire underwater soundscape with all new creatures. The “bitfish” in that episode are based off of recordings from the HissandaRoar Drones library. I took a drone recording and pitch-shifted, modulated and mangled the heck out of it and I ended up with an underwater mechanical creature! Very cool libraries, and the video demos are such fun to watch!
